According to the recent report released by Facebook, the social network has more than 1,4 billion monthly active mobile users, and 823 million users access Facebook solely from their cell phones. As for Instagram, the company reports that it has 400 million monthly active users who access the site via mobile phone (47 percent) and via tablet (53 percent) — virtually no desktop usage is reported.
